Owners, developers and investors can engage around a financing requirement, a defined analysis or ongoing project support. A project can be at acquisition, development, transition, refinancing or stabilization.

Referral partners and capital providers have distinct paths into the firm. The appropriate scope depends on the project, sponsorship, information available and timing.

07 / Questions answered

Before we
begin.

What does The Deal Team do?

We are a commercial real estate capital markets advisory, powered by goKaizen Capital. We help sponsors assess, structure and arrange debt and equity, with underwriting, feasibility and Project CFO support available within an agreed scope.

Do you work across property types?

Yes. The desk considers commercial real estate across asset classes, including multifamily, industrial, retail, office, hospitality, manufactured housing, land and development, mixed-use, SFR development, build-for-rent and residential transitional lending. Each engagement is evaluated on its own merits.

Does the transaction need to be complex?

No. A clear acquisition or refinance deserves the same considered execution as a layered capital structure. The scope should fit the transaction.

Are you the lender or investor?

The firm provides advisory and brokering services. A submission is not an application for credit or a commitment to provide capital. Terms and funding decisions belong to the relevant capital providers.

What should I share first?

Start with the property, location, business plan, capital requirement and timing. The transaction intake asks for the detail relevant to the deal. Additional material can follow as the engagement develops.

How are fees agreed?

The scope and compensation are established in engagement documents. Depending on the transaction, compensation may be paid by the client, a capital source or both, as disclosed in those documents.

Do you work with brokers and capital providers?

Yes. Brokers and advisors can use the transaction intake, which includes the applicable referral-agreement process. Capital providers can contact the desk about their current lending or investment criteria.
