Home / The firm / Producer opportunities

Your relationships.
A larger capacity to execute.

A producer role in real estate capital markets, supported by an experienced team and the firm’s own AI-assisted workflows. Powered by goKaizen Capital.

01 / The producer role

You own the relationship.
The desk supports the work.

A producer at The Deal Team develops sponsor relationships, qualifies opportunities and stays accountable to the client from the first conversation through closing.

Behind each assignment, the team provides structuring, underwriting and presentation support as the work requires. AI assists the preparation; producers and the firm’s leadership keep the judgment and the accountability.

The relationship with an owner or developer can begin with one acquisition, development or refinance and widen from there: residential investment, multifamily, hospitality, industrial and other commercial property, nationally. Assignment fit and available capital govern each engagement.

What you can originate
Debt

Financing that fits the plan.

Acquisition, refinance, construction and transitional financing.

Equity

Partners for the capital stack.

Joint-venture partners, preferred equity and co-sponsor (co‑GP) capital.

Advisory

Analysis behind a decision.

Feasibility, custom Excel modeling and capital decisions.

Project CFO

The owner’s numbers, coordinated.

Budget visibility, cash-flow planning and capital coordination.

Engagement scope and producer participation are agreed for each assignment.

02 / Proprietary application

Dealmaker.
One place to move the relationship forward.

Dealmaker is our proprietary application. It brings deal context, document requests and reviewed work into one clear workspace, so a producer can see where each relationship stands and what comes next.

We use leading AI models together inside this one centralized, user-friendly application. The firm’s own systems coordinate the work, and the team reviews it before anyone relies on it.

The Deal Maker, the application's top-hatted figure

A shared deal record

Opportunities, documents, tasks and key dates stay connected.

A clearer client process

Sponsors see requests and provide the information the desk needs.

Prepared financial packages

Structured submissions support review and Excel preparation.

How the support follows a deal
  1. 01Find the next conversationRanked prospect lists and prepared call openers.
  2. 02Prepare the credit discussionDeal documents read, gaps flagged and questions developed.
  3. 03Identify capital fitThe capital universe screened and the shortlist refined.
  4. 04Present and compareBranded terms prepared and competing offers compared.
  5. 05Keep the next step visibleMeeting context retained and open work coordinated.

This support reduces research, preparation and coordination work. Prior work informs the next research pass, recorded decisions preserve continuity, and a producer’s attention shifts toward relationships and advancing transactions. The goal is more capacity without a proportional increase in administration.

Research is directional. Source documents and professional review govern. Producers review AI-assisted work before relying on it or sharing it.

03 / Capital access and execution

8,500+capital sources in the firm’s database

A broad universe.
A refined matching process.

The firm’s capital-source database covers more than 8,500 lenders and investors. That breadth is the starting point for research, not a set of standing relationships or a promise of terms: the desk screens the universe for fit and qualifies a shortlist before a producer makes an introduction.

The objective is a credible path to closing and the right parties kept moving. Credit approval and funding decisions always belong to the capital provider.

How producers are compensated

Producer roles are commission-based independent arrangements. The terms, including splits, expenses, commission eligibility and payment timing, are set in each producer’s individual agreement. Lead allocation is not guaranteed, and no compensation offer is made on this page.

05 / Apply

Apply to join
The Deal Team.

Share your market, your experience and what you want to build. The firm’s leadership reads every application and treats it as confidential. Where there is a fit, the next step is an introductory call.

This form is for people interested in a producer role. It is not the financing application; sponsors introducing a project should use Apply / Introduce a project.

The desk uses AI to assist with application review and analysis. People remain responsible for the engagement. Read the AI-use disclosure.

Your application is read by the firm’s leadership and used only to consider you for a producer role. It is never sold or circulated.
